1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms and Conditions govern WebMadeira services, including web hosting, domain registration and management, professional email, SSL certificates and custom configurations.
By ordering or using a service, the customer confirms that these terms have been read and accepted. Specific conditions in an offer, order or client area supplement this document.
2. Customer account and information
Customers must provide accurate, complete and current information, including contact and billing details. They are responsible for protecting access to the client area and reporting relevant changes.
WebMadeira may request additional information to validate ownership, comply with a domain extension or prevent abuse.
3. Prices, VAT and renewal
Published prices are annual unless stated otherwise, and VAT at the applicable legal rate is added. Payment must be completed within the deadline shown in the order, invoice or client area.
Services renew under the conditions and prices in force at renewal. Customers should monitor notices sent to their registered contacts.
4. Acceptable use
Customers are responsible for content, applications, messages, accounts and access used with the service. Hosting may not be used for illegal content, malware, phishing, spam, fraud or infringement of third-party rights.
WebMadeira may temporarily limit a resource to protect the infrastructure or comply with a legal obligation.
5. Availability, maintenance and backups
WebMadeira aims to keep services stable and may perform planned or urgent maintenance. Planned work will be communicated when practical.
Daily backups included in published plans are an operational safeguard. Customers should keep their own copies of critical data and verify recovery options.
6. Suspension, cancellation and guarantee
A service may be suspended for non-payment, abuse, security risk or breach of these terms. WebMadeira will seek to contact the customer where possible.
Hosting includes a 15-day guarantee subject to the applicable conditions. Domains, certificates and non-recoverable costs may follow separate rules.
7. Domains, intellectual property and disputes
Domain registration, transfer, renewal and recovery follow the rules of each extension and registry. A €15 administrative fee may apply after expiry up to 30 days, as published.
Customers retain rights in their content and grant only permissions needed to provide the service. Questions should be sent to geral@webmadeira.pt.
8. Changes and contact
WebMadeira may update these terms to reflect legal, technical or commercial changes. The published version applies to use or renewal, without affecting accrued rights.
